Biography

Jennifer L. Miller lives and writes in Colorado. She has three beautiful children that she claims as her inspiration. Jenna, as friends know her, began writing seriously in 2005, and her first publication came out in 2006. Speaking with Shugaan, a fantasy novel, was the first in a planned four book series. However, Miller had fallen for a heinous publishing scam, and has since asked readers not to buy the publication (you may request a free .pdf copy by following the directions on the publications page).

Upon discovering she had been duped, Jenna, along with writers M. L. Chesley and Dave Rex, started a popular MySpace group for writers called, Word Weavers. The group published several anthologies independently, and was disbanded in 2010. The group is back, however, and you may find them on FaceBook at:

After starting Word Weavers, Miller was approached to be in a few anthologies: Concrete Blood: Dark Tales of the City and a couple put out by Darkened Horizons Magazine. Jennifer herself put out an anthology, called, Ladies and Gentlemen of Horror 2008. A 2009 version was in the makings when Miller was hit with a personal tradgedy. She handed off the anthology to a small press who put out a 2009 version, as well as a 2011. That small press has since gone under and Jenna is behind the wheel of the LGOH once again.

Miller self published a second anthology which contains all but two of her published short stories to date. Ceremony of Chaos contains 12 dark fiction stories. An updated re-release of Ceremony of Chaos is planned for early 2018. The last story Jenna penned before a long hiatus can be found in Isabelle Rose's Twisted Fairy Tale Anthology. Her two newest tales, Star-Crossed and Bitch, can be found in Quixotic: Not Every Day Love Stories, and the LGOH 2013, respectively.

Miller is recently back on the writing scene, back running Word Weavers, and getting herself back out there for the world to see.
This year, she will contribute her short story, Slither, to the LOGH 2016.

When she's not writing, editing, or formatting,  of course, she'll spend as much time with her kids in the great outdoors as is humanly possible.
